At this time of year I see so much stress, over co At this time of year I see so much stress, over commitment and tiredness in my clients ...are you guilty of over booking your diary and squeezing too much in? The end of Autumn as we head towards to the Winter Solstice is a time of darkness with frosty days and cold long nights. There is a stillness in the air from nature as it takes this time to pause and hibernate. But we do the complete opposite. We fill our days and nights with events, parties and shopping for the festive season and leave ourselves burnt out. Christmas is a time to be embraced and enjoyed but take inspiration from nature too, find balance with the busyness and conscious time alone 🤍

My calling has always been to help and care for others, through my professional time as an intensive care & chemotherapy nurse I cared for so many people on their road to recovery or with their passing from this world. When I left nursing I opened my new space to help others through reflexology and reiki. . I discovered Emma’s page last year and quietly observed and read her posts, unsure if the messages were right for me. I bought her first book find your soul path and became so inspired by her words. My channelled reading with her was so accurate it encouraged me to trust in my gifts and expand my offerings. Next month I launch my healing sessions and I’m over the moon that my regular clients are booking in ! . Emma has given me the confidence to shine as me ! I have read many many books about reflexology, healing and witchcraft but Emma’s book has uncomplicated it and made it so accessible for all of us to understand 🤍
This week has been about slowing down….in betwee This week has been about slowing down….in between the jobs we have to do it’s about finding time to slow down and really enjoy the simple things of life. . Being present helps you to stop thinking about the never ending to do list and enjoy today 🤍. This morning I’ve add some quiet time after the school run, gathering my thoughts before seeing my clients…and I’m loving my new dress from @bontelondon 🤍🤍🤍
The power of nature to heal….when I’m feeling The power of nature to heal….when I’m feeling tired I always turn to nature…it instantly uplifts you and makes you feel alive!! . As I head towards 50 I find myself growing in confidence, no longer caring about judgement from others. Celebrating my body becoming older, feeling happier and free!! @thebench_personaltraining you are giving me so much strength! 🤍🤍🤍
I enjoyed picking pumpkins with my daughter yester I enjoyed picking pumpkins with my daughter yesterday…so many wonderful colours and shapes to choose from!! Did you know Halloween is more than costumes and sweets…it has its roots in an ancient pagan celebration called Samhain? Samhain marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. People in times gone by would harvest their pumpkins and place candles in them on their windows to celebrate the harvest and remember their loved ones passed over. For many during this time, the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead is thin, allowing spirits to connect. It’s a time of celebration to remember loved ones no longer with us in the present world🧡

Many of my clients have found their emotions overwhelming these past few days. Be gentle with yourself today, pause before reacting to a situation and tonight look at the moon also known as the Hunter Moon and breathe in her energy and strength 🤍

She can bring about a rapid shift in energy by removing blockages and stagnant energy in your body. She is a lovely crystal to use for the crown chakra…fading away our worries and negative thoughts. She is also a supportive crystal to have in your home for protection and absorbing negative energy 🤍

Gently hold and focus on your breathing 🤍

Last night we had a full super moon…this happens Last night we had a full super moon…this happens when a full moon is at her closest point in her orbit to the earth. When full / completely lit up she is considered at her most powerful stage. Research has found people’s behaviour and sleep is affected by this stage. Now it has passed and become a waning gibbous it is time to let go of any issues , it may be you are holding on to anger or frustrated by how you’ve been treated by someone. Any emotions that arise over the coming days let them out !! This is the time to cry and release. If you are a reflexologist be mindful that many of your clients may be extra emotional 🤍

What does the Solar Plexus Chakra do? This chakra What does the Solar Plexus Chakra do? This chakra is all about action & transformation. It is linked with energy, willpower and the element of fire. It gives you the va-va-voom to move forward in life with confidence and clarity. It’s a point I hold when I’ve had a busy day, am feeling tired or need some extra energy. Alternate holding this point on both hands, one side may feel tighter or sore compared to the other side, this is absolutely fine. I will often sit at night holding this point or during the afternoon when I have a slump!
