I captured this snowdrop whilst out on my walk a few weeks ago. Clustered together under the tree half protected by fallen leaves I noticed the beautiful white petals spread like a white carpet. 
.
.
It was so uplifting to see them and it  was a gentle reminder of new beginnings.
.
.
Only when I got home and put the images onto my laptop did I notice that the white petals were not completely white, they were browning and had slight cracks in them but they were still perfect.
.
.
So just like this snowdrop you are beautiful, with all your cracks, flaws and imperfections fused together to uniquely make you 🤍

I like to use this time of year not to set unrealistic goals for myself but to plan my new ideas and what direction I would like to go in with my business and personal life.

By writing down my ideas it becomes so much easier to see the doors opening !! This year has all been about slowing down, spending quality time with my family and realising I can’t complete everything on my to do list !!

This Christmas be kind to yourself, take time to rest and enjoy the simple little pleasures.

I will be taking some time off social media and the news!! Time to slow down, potter around my house, take walks in nature or stay in my pjs all day!!

However you choose to spend the next few days make sure you take time to rest and  take care of yourself and your love ones. 💜

Even on a dark cloudy winters day there is beauty to be seen.

We can spend so much of our time on auto pilot that the present moment simply vanishes.

Photography is my creative outlet, it changes the way I look at the world.  This beautiful Rose is standing strong on a winters day in my garden, a reminder that beauty is all around us 🤍

I like this quote, but friendship isn’t always so simple, have your friendships changed this year? Have new friendships formed? It’s ok to seek new friendships and find support from people who understand you, understand your past, won’t take advantage and will support you too.

One of my new wonderful friendships this year Is with @annaconsidineuk , we came together for work but now have found ourselves coming together as friends through mutual understanding and interests.
.
On a recent walk we stopped to take a photo of a beautiful temple, Anna looked down at our feet and this beautiful plaque was right by our feet!! Definitely a sign of a new positive friendship!
THE BREATH . . It must be the nurse in me but whe THE BREATH

It must be the nurse in me but when I look at the shape of certain leaves they remind me of the lungs!!
.
.
The bronchi in the lungs branch off and divide into smaller and smaller branches called the bronchioles just like the pattern in this fern.
.
.
Good breathing is essential for our health...when we are stressed we tend to over breathe and this can cause increased anxiety, muscle tension and poor sleep to name but a few.
.
.
Being outside in nature is a great way to restore your breathing.

I have been saying these words a lot recently, I have been through many storms in my life and always found strength and positivity.
.
.
I’ve been very quiet on Instagram recently trying to find my inner calm, I’ve enjoyed time by the sea with this wonderful view watching the storms come and go. Closing my business today I am so worried I won’t be able to reopen in December.
.
.
At a time when mental health issues are rising I feel so frustrated I cannot see my clients...they give me strength and calmness as do I to them.
.
.
 I will be having a few days rest to find my inner calmness then I will put my positive pants back on!!!!
